Why I Review Every Game I Play

I've made it a habit to write a review for every game I play. Here's why, and why I think you should too.
## It Helps Other Players
Every review adds to the collective knowledge. Your perspective might be exactly what someone needs to decide whether to try a game.
## It Helps Developers
Constructive reviews, especially for indie games, give developers direct feedback from their audience. Many developers read reviews here.
## It Helps You
Writing about a game forces you to think critically about your experience. You'll notice things you wouldn't otherwise, and your ability to articulate what makes games work (or not) improves over time.
## It Builds Community
Reviews spark discussions. Some of the best conversations I've had here started from review comments.
## My Process
I wait at least a day after finishing before writing. Fresh impressions are valuable, but a bit of reflection leads to better analysis.
